Chili, Chowder, & Stew, 1/18 Celebrate winter in the kitchen with wholesome and hearty one-pot meals perfect for the long chilly season ahead! This hands-on cooking class will cover culinary techniques & kitchen tips as we prepare three signature recipes, followed by a warming meal in the dining room. Recipes may include dishes such as Farmhouse Chicken & Corn Chowder,Vegetarian Black Bean & Winter Squash Chili, and wonderful New England Seafood Stew with Garlic-Parmesan Toasts. Printed recipes, chef instruction, and dinner included.
Savory Pot Pies, Monday, February 27th This is comfort food at its best! Join us in the kitchen as we prepare three delicious savory pot pies. We’ll cover some different topping options along with pastry technique, braising & poaching, roux and thickening methods, and overall fun pot pie assembly covered in this workshop! Recipes may include dishes such as Cottage Pie with Kale & Potato Mash and Chicken & Mushroom Pithivier. Hands-on class includes chef instruction, printed recipes, and dinner at the end of the evening.
Spring Brunch, Monday, March 27th Time to welcome the arrival of Spring and learn some wonderful new dishes to share with family and friends! We’ll prepare a complete brunch menu featuring both savory and sweet dishes, while learning kitchen skills and culinary techniques along the way. Some of our menu items may include Homemade Maple & Apple Sausage, Blackberry-Stuffed Scones, and Sourdough & Cheese Rarebit with Farm Eggs. Class includes hands-on cooking, chef instruction, printed recipes, and a delicious meal at the end of the evening.
